Join the 17 in 2017 Project

I’m adopting 17 people in 2017. Revolutionary people in medicine. People who want to heal the world and make a big difference with a project, a dream, an idea. Are you one of the 17?

I’m open to anyone who feels called to this project (special preference given to premed & medical students). So if you are an amazing person with a beautiful dream and an invincible spirit,  join us! Everyone who applies wins a prize and 17 finalists are in for a total life transformation with free mentorship all year long. Plus cash awards, free retreats & more . . .

Contact Dr. Wible for an application.

I am a loyal follower and admirer of your important work. I am a 69 year old Ph.D. Psychologist. Retired CEO of world’s largest pharmaceutical marketing research company (sorry!). Spent my life studying the psychology of physicians. Would love to volunteer my services to help in this new endeavor. Yell if you think I could be of assistance.

    Regards,

    Richard

Hello Pamela, I submitted my essay to you a few weeks ago and I am really hoping to receive any help that I can get. I do not have a lot of people to go in this regard. I am dead set on doing everything I can to help make this world a better place. Any help is tremendously appreciated. I look forward to your response.

    Thanks,

    Arturo Ortigoza, Student

How may Clinicians be a part of legislation like the days of old in Greece and Rome in the Parliaments? We are the agents at the frontline yet we are not part of the paperwork ? We suffer and our Patients Suffer. Are we not to blame ? When will we learn to mobilize, inspire and seek help !

Well Pam, I missed the deadline. I have been thinking about this a lot, actually…as I know it’s time for me to step into my next “calling”. Shoot. I should have written earlier.
I have been running my little newspaper for 6 1/2 years now..but I am by heart, yet a healer. Please let us all know if there will be any sort of extension to this opportunity. I would <3 to have you as an official mentor.

I may do it again in 2018 🙂 Get on my email list & keep opening emails so you get in on these things right when I announce them.

I just found this site today, and have already shed some tears over the stories here. Many of the issues mentioned in Physician Suicide 101 resonated with me. I have known students who have gone through depression and anxiety. I am a mature medical student with husband and children and medical school has been a real struggle especially these last few months. Please add me to your mailing list.

    Kind regards,

    Dawn Sheals
